Hawai‘i Music Festivals has been arranging tours for bands, orchestras and choirs to our lovely island state for over 18 years. We are based in Hawai‘i and we concentrate exclusively in the Hawai‘i market. We take the worry out of your tour planning. Our goal is to provide more performance and educational opportunities for music groups visiting Hawai‘i. We can also arrange exchange concerts with local schools. The children enjoy these exchanges, at it is a way to meet and interact with Hawai‘i students. All our tours are custom designed to the needs of each group.

We can arrange workshops at the University of Hawai‘i Music School. The sessions are designed to improve technique, achieve better balance and dynamics, improve intonation, and overall better musicality. The Director of Bands at the University of Hawai‘i leads the band and orchestra workshops. He brings with him 14 years of experience as a director of a highly successful high school band program and 19 years as the director of bands at the University of Hawai‘i. He is the assistant conductor of the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra and director of the Hawai‘i Youth Symphoxny Orchestra. He has conducted many workshops and clinics for visiting bands, honor and select bands and music camps throughout the continental United States and Canada.

The Director of Choral Activities at the University of Hawai‘i leads our choral workshops. Before coming to Hawai‘i, she was the Conductor of the Arizona State University Women's Choir and Assistant Conductor of the ASU Choral Union. As a music educator, she has directed award-winning choirs at the junior high and senior high levels. She has been an adjudicator and clinician for the AMEA. She has performed as a featured vocalist with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, the Phoenix Symphony Chamber Orchestra, and with various vocal/choral ensembles.
